Captain: David Warner
One of the most successful overseas players in IPL, Warner hit the right notes for Capitals in the last two games, recording scores of 61 and 66. Vice-captain: Liam Livingstone

Shikhar Dhawan: Had a rare failure in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but he has been a consistent run-scorer for Kings this season, with 205 in six games. Dhawan also has a superb record against his former side, Capitals. He has scored 522 runs in 15 outings, at an average of 37.29, and a strike rate of 142.33.

Kagiso Rabada: Yet to go wicketless in his five outings, he is an automatic choice in our safe XI. Rabada has been a menace in the death overs picking up the joint-most wickets since IPL 2020 – 24 in 31 outings
Khaleel Ahmed: Like Rabada, he has also not gone wicketless this year, picking up eight in four games. At Brabourne Stadium, he has taken 3 for 25 and 2 for 27.
